Walker: “US government is a global embarrassment”

David Walker, Founder and CEO of the Comeback America Initiative and the former Comptroller General of the United States, is appalled by the lack of leadership and cooperation in Washington.

“We are here because of failure of the president, a failure of the Senate and a failure of the House to reach a reasoned and reasonable to avoid the sequester,” he says. “It is a global embarrassment.”

He says it’s time for Americans to come together and insist that our elected leaders start to actually lead, instead of intentionally putting us into crisis after crisis. “We the people have a responsibility to put pressure on our elected officials whether they be democrats, republicans or independents to do a deal and if they don’t do a deal, to throw them out,” he says.

And if Congress cannot make a deal, Walker is among a growing contingent who believe lawmakers should not be allowed to go on break. “No deal. No break,” he demands

The US is done. Cooked. Finished. The politicians could not solve this problem if their lives depended on it. The US is bankrupt and will collapse catastrophically. I cannot say WHEN it will happen but it will. And Barack Hooisinsane Obama has a significant portion of the blame on his shoulders.

Everyone likes to blame our politicians. What I find curious is that nearly all Americans continue voting for representatives of the two major parties, then spend the next election cycle bitching & moaning about how dysfunctional and corrupt they all are, then repeat.

Rants, letters, pleadings, complaints, etc. change nothing. There is only one effective tool for holding politicians accountable: The vote. Rather than wasting energy complaining and trying to get the Dems and Reps to change their ways, vote them out and be done with it. Until Americans do that, nothing’s going to change, imo.

I’m telling you that the shale gas/oil revolution is going to change everything for you all for much the better. This is why gold is collapsing. Think about it. The US is going into the next great supercycle due to fracking and the cheap natural gas that comes with it. The whole world is sitting on shale! Clean and inexhaustible natural gas-powered cars, trucks, buses, trains, power systems…..the build out will take 20 years….just look at the new high lists…..examine the components. No retail, no apparel, but infrastructure and oil plays galore. Even RV makers like Winnebago.
