The organic elite surrenders to Monsanto?

This is a disturbing article on the watering down of organic into “natural” food marketing. Read your package ingredients carefully no matter what the advertising says.  The strongest vote we consumers can make is with our dollars and the products and producers we choose to support.

“In the wake of a 12-year battle to keep Monsanto’s Genetically Engineered (GE) crops from contaminating the nation’s 25,000 organic farms and ranches, America’s organic consumers and producers are facing betrayal. A self-appointed cabal of the Organic Elite, spearheaded by Whole Foods Market, Organic Valley, and Stonyfield Farm, has decided it’s time to surrender to Monsanto. Top executives from these companies have publicly admitted that they no longer oppose the mass commercialization of GE crops, such as Monsanto’s controversial Roundup Ready alfalfa, and are prepared to sit down and cut a deal for “coexistence” with Monsanto and USDA biotech cheerleader Tom Vilsack.”

Wonderful. Now I am assured I will be growing extra arms and legs and noses and eyes from all those nicely stacked GE seeds from the labs at Monsanto so we can feed the damn hordes. Thanks for the heads up!

Its a great reason to stockpile your own heritage seeds and grow your own vegetables. The main problem that I don’t like is all the aluminum, barium and strontium aerosoles they are spraying right over our heads in the name of global modification. I hear the crap is loaded with nanocrystals that can be activated at some later date. This is true stuff. Just look up into the skies and see all the criss-cross lines that occlude and block out the sun. Jeesh, I am old enough to remember when the sun looked yellow, actually golden.

Articles like this make me want to buy more Gold and run for the hills……Alex Jones is right!

Regardless of opinion on GM vs. “natural”/organic food I want proper and transparent labeling so that I can make an informed decision.

Always amazed at how the herd moves…..always buy and promote overvalued assets near the apex while obviously undervalued assets which actually have a use and will see increasing demand are dismissed.
For the Gold bugs out there who are buying more bullion and heading for the hills I sure hope you like the taste of it and when you get tired of admiring the glow and come down to the village farmers market to buy your vegetables I sure hope that no one bumps you on the head and takes it away from you before you can scrape off a few chunks.

Gold will never go to zero. It will always have value. And it doesn’t rot. The price is what really matters. And at 1,700 is appears ‘high’. But how high is high, high might be ‘low’.

Time will tell. Oh, BTW….Linked In ‘LNKD’ is gapping up nicely on a spectacular earnings report, 2 cents over views. This is the one is just purchased when I searched through DP’s IPO list of losers. Nice chart.
