Avaaz campaign to prosecute banking fraud

Tonight Avaaz calls on citizens of the world to unite.

“Big banks have been caught in a massive scam to rig global interest rates, ripping off millions of people on their mortgages, student loans and more! We’d go to jail for this, but Barclays bank has only been fined, and just a fraction of their profits! Outrage is mounting — this is our chance to finally turn the tide of the banks’ reign over our democracies.

The EU finance regulator, Michel Barnier is standing up to the powerful bank lobby and championing reform that would put bankers behind bars for fraud like this. If the EU goes first, accountability could quickly spread across the globe. But the banks are lobbying hard against it, and we need a massive surge of people power to drive these reforms through.

If we can get 1 million people to stand with Barnier in the next 3 days, it will give him momentum to face down the banking lobby and push governments to bring reform. Sign the petition, and our growing numbers will be represented by adding mock bankers to a jail right in front of the EU Parliament.”

You can express your support for democracy and the rule of law, by signing the Avaaz global petition here.

The corruption is systemic and not limited to the banking sector. A “day late and a dollar short” regulators now aware the”jig is up” are scrambling to save what is left of their complicit carreers. Necessary change will not come from within. We have no idea what will be the trigger point. Perhaps environmental catastrophe from severe prolonged drought or some blight that wipes out monoculture wheat or potatoe crops. maybe it will be a global pandemic. Maybe another Kent State or Tiananmen, we simply don’t know but there will be one and it will be led from the street by some of the unwashed who have simply come to the end of tolerance. It will definetly not begin with half hearted, politically motivated efforts of the elites.

I wouldn’t get too hopeful of the Entrenched Banking Syndicate letting go of the reins of the world anytime too soon. It just ain’t gonna happen. Remember, THEY can keep it up while you go insolvent, pensionless and without Social Security/Medicare.

You need to stop spending, consuming mindlessly and feeding the sales tax troughs if you want to grind them down. Food, gas okay, but the fancy cars, 100K outdoor patios, expensive gadgets are what feeds the pigs. Starve the beast!

None of this would have been possible without the actions of “Progressive” politicians. When you start arresting all Democratic Party politicians including the current President together with the majority of Republican Party progressives then you can talk about banks. These are the people who bear the responsibility.

The 5-year statute of limitations for the SEC to bring charges related to the 2008 financial crisis, will soon run out, and the Wall Street Journal reports that has SEC officials concerned they may not make the deadline on some cases on which they want to file civil suits.
The Journal quotes Arthur Wilmarth, a law professor at George Washington University, and a consultant to the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission, as saying the possibility of wrongdoing going unpunished because U.S. officials run out of time “feeds on the public sense of cynicism.”

There is a much bigger agenda underway that is clearly not being seen by Canadians.
Harper is quietly giving our sovereignty away to Washington under the guise of increased security. If you ever wondered what exactly was being secretly discussed at those G20 meetings read the linked story. The Toronto G-20 occurred while Canadians were clubbed and detained by our own police for having the audacity to protest !
This initiative has nothing to do with increased North American security. It is apparently the continuation of a long term plan to eliminate our unique Canadian identity by creating a new pan American super state without borders.

Read the above link and tell me why Stephen Harper, Peter Kent and Joe Oliver shouldn’t be considered environmental psychopaths.
