Sadly, as a result of gross criminal negligence by US Goobermint leaders the “Fiscal Cliff” is our best hope to get ANY reduction in Goobermint spending. Without drastic reductions in Goobermint spending, we are doomed to drowning in debt – the US economic system will experience a total uncontrolled collapse probably dragging the rest of the world with us, we will have civil war, mass starvation, possibly world war, and it will be a nightmare doomsday scenario that will not be fixed for decades, if ever. THAT is the full-speed-ahead course we are on today. NOONE would argue this fact. Given the current incompetence of our leaders, the fiscal “cliff” is the only way to get started on correcting our course, and it will only be A START.
