Transportation evolution in process

Regulatory and technological obstacles may hold back the driverless car for decades. But one of the first driverless semi-trucks is already driving, legally, on the highways of Nevada. See: this is how a driverless truck works, direct video link.

Now imagine these vehicles battery driven and perpetually charged by momentum and solar power captured through the the roadway pavement as well as the body of the truck itself.  Safer, never having to gas up, zero emission, lowering freight costs by gazillions…

Or we can keep paying the price for old technologies…another day another devastating oil spill, this time off the coast of Santa Barbara. See: Devastating oil spill off coast of California.  The smart evolution of energy and transportation is in all our best interests.
