This article from the weekend is worth reading and digesting in full (thanks Richard P for the tip). See What happened to Obama?
What I have found the most frustrating about Obama personally is that unlike most of the other leaders, bankers, regulators, advisors who were hopelessly clueless at every turn over the past 20 years, Obama actually seemed to grasp the mistakes. He articulated the issues clearly in his many wonderful campaign speeches. And then… he did nothing but continue in the same horrendous policies, promoting and rewarding the perpetrators with even greater positions of power and influence in his government.
The question now is can Obama find any guts to change course in his final year? I would like to believe it is possible, but I cannot at present see any strength in him.
And if not Obama in 2012, what kind of leader will replace him??

Must Read: UBS’ Andy Lees On Why The US Economy Is, All Else Equal, Doomed

This is a hopelessly pathetic article written by an ignorant fool who thought what he heard in some speeches were true.
Obama is and always will be a marxist socialist whose policies will destroy any economy.
There are too many errors to correct in this article, but the government (democrats ) were responsible for giving mortgages to people who could not afford them. That is why Obama did not pursue the people responsible for the housing collapse
Don,
I understand that you are still mourning for all the great facist regimes of the past.
either you are terribly ignorant or playing the same game as that great fraud, Barack Obama.
Obama is as socialist as those austerity loving Greek “socialists.” Prez Hope and Change is out there cutting medicare, social security, rewarding banksters, starting/intensifying wars, keeping taxes low on the rich, beefing up the security state and unemployment high. that ain’t socialism, that’s George W. Bush’s third term.
