There is a propensity of humans to see the world in a way that suits us best and then bootstrap our beliefs. Left unchecked this can become like a form of mental illness and do great harm. When allowed to pronounce such flawed beliefs as truth for others, madness can spread. Like weeding a garden, thinking people must resist and speak truth to power every day if we are to evolve and grow.
