March has been a pretty incredible month so far. As of yesterday's close, the Dow and the S&P 500 are both up more than 20% since the March 9 low. The TSX has rallied 19%. A 5% pull back here would be healthy and welcome as an opportunity to quell over-exuberance. Whether this will happen of course remains to be seen. We should remember that a healthy market climbs a wall of worry in fits and starts. Straight up or straight down are not sustainable trends either way.

Hi Danielle,
Hope you had a great vacation! Thanks for providing your thoughts on this blog. It's refreshing to read the views of such an informed and humble person in the financial world. I was wondering if you had ever thought of posting a model portfolio on your blog. Of course, I wouldn't expect a detailed account of your every move. That wouldn't be appropriate. I was thinking more of a very general portfolio that perhaps only contained the XSP, XIU and XIN. I totally understand if you don't agree. Have a good day.

Hi Danielle,
I'm sure there are a lot of us who feel like Daryl. If we could, we would be your clients. Failing that we are out here struggling on our own. Even the business of letting us know the sectors you are seeing as favourable as you did recently, was much appreciated.
