The following is a collection of books which I have discovered over the years to be useful in helping us manage and protect money. These books stand out in the wide sea of investment tomes which are too often “vapid in content and repugnant in form” (as John Galbraith once quipped) and worse–potentially damaging to real life people and their capital.
In my experience, wise, unbiased books can be critical in helping us to develop disciplined rules and habits for lasting success with money. With the long-always investment industry having bought so many of today’s investment “experts”, academics and scholars, learning to recognize and avoid the sales puff junk is key. Happy reading…
