Juggling Dynamite

As I have said before, I am not a fan of either leading Presidential candidate.  They both seem unworthy of trust to me.  But I do think that intelligent people damage their own credibility when they try to the defend the indefensible for any candidate.  See Does anyone know what happened to those 22 million emails from the Bush White House? This quote captures the real state of affairs best I think:

Along with influence peddling and humidity in August, ass-covering is one of the most permanent features of our permanent governing class, and it is a bipartisan enterprise involving all our elite political institutions, in and out of government.

During a press event at Universal Studios in L.A., Elon Musk announces that Tesla will build and sell its own line of solar panels with integrated batteries. Coupled with the also unveiled PowerWall 2, it will allow residential homeowners to replace their entire roof with solar panels, making it much simpler for homes to be entirely powered by solar power.  Here is a direct video link.
