After a couple of decades of buying financial advice from debt sellers, the world is drowning in it. No surprise there. But definitely time to face facts: admit, repent, reform and finally, recover.

The new Greek government is offering everyone a wake up call by admitting the truth and demanding a new plan. We should applaud their honesty and courage to confront the status quo. We need more of that all over the world.

The Supreme Court of Canada just struck down the criminal code provision against assisted suicide in Canada. No need to fly to Switzerland now…

In a unanimous decision, the Supreme Court Friday struck down as unconstitutional the nation’s contentious century-old law against assisted suicide.

The historic ruling – met with jubilation from right-to-die advocates – opens the door to physician-assisted suicide for consenting, severely ill adults who want to control the method, timing and circumstances of their death.

In the landmark 9-0 decision, the high court ruled that the Criminal Code provision against aiding and abetting someone to commit suicide deprives people suffering from grievous and irremediable medical conditions the right to life, liberty and security of the person as guaranteed under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
