Salman Khan and his revolutionary Khan Academy are truly one of the most inspiring, hopeful things going right in the world today. One of my closest friends is presently completing prerequisite math studies for a London School of Economics degree from their home in Canada, for free, via the Khan Academy website here. There is no reason for anyone to sit around ignorant or bored today so long as they have access to the internet and know where to look. The potential for global enlightenment is truly unprecedented in human history. Conventional ideas about education are being turned on their head. See the below clip for an exciting conversation.
