S&P 500: rickety as she goes

With a series of mysterious “mini-flash-crashes” in US stocks first thing this morning, it is important to understand that over-stretched prices on vapid volume- a few algo machines doing the lion share of trades– results in rickety, immune-deficient markets, susceptible to sudden reversal.
