Some Edmontonians are leveraging their energy expertise to build sustainable communities that are healthier and much cheaper to run.
Edmonton already has the largest concentration of net-zero homes in Canada and now the sod is turned and homes are being built in the largest planned carbon-neutral neighbourhood in Canada. The project is 500 acres in size, right in downtown Edmonton and features a green building code, a geothermal district energy system and near net-zero homes. Here is a direct video link.
