More valuable journalism from CBS 60 Minutes, this time on the systemic failure to prosecute Wall Street. Two high-ranking financial whistleblowers say they tried to warn their superiors about defective and even fraudulent mortgages. So why haven’t the companies or their executives been prosecuted? Steve Kroft reports. See the Part I clip here. Part II is here.
“Give me control of a nations money supply, and I care not who makes it’s laws.”
It is pretty clear there will be no prosecutions. For anyone to think the puppets would risk a market collapse by attempting to clean up the fraud is really quite ridiculous.
Punters are still betting all will be made well as Merkel and Co. can still jawbone the market up while economic fundamentals continue to deteriorate. Bizarre but given historical precident not suprising.
Puppet politians will be thrown out and changed on a regular basis but not before they have feathered their nests. The puppet masters will be sure their billions are protected.
The unwashed will continue to pay.
Note to Gold bugs……there is a sterling platter waiting for you!
