Good watch: Spectacle with Elvis Costello

This show was a UK/Canadian production of twenty 50-minute episodes over two seasons 2008-2010.   They are now available on YouTube.  Two of my favourites are below: Diana Krall with Elton John, and The Police.  All offer a nice break from COVID-19!

This episode is hosted by Elton John, with guest Diana Krall.  Here is a direct video link.

This episode’s guests: The Police, with Elvis interviewing Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland, separately and together.  Here is a direct video link.

Famed economist Nouriel Roubini, who predicted the 2008 financial crisis, is calling for a global depression in the middle of the decade: “there is also a risk of an L, what I call a greater depression, that’s my baseline for the rest of the decade, but not this year.” Here is a direct video link.
