Vancouver this weekend

I will be speaking at the World Resource Investment Conference in Vancouver this weekend, doing a presentation at the lovely Vancouver Convention Centre on Sunday at 11am “Managing capital through a secular bear: cyclical update” and Monday morning at 9:30am: “What a slower growth world tells us about current stock valuations and Gurus”. If you are in the area, you can register to attend for free on line here.

Perfect timing….weather promises to be clear and sunny in the most beautiful city on earth. Have been to a few of those and for some reason I always felt like taking a shower afterward. Maybe it’s all the bugs scurrying around. Enjoy your weekend.

    SPX
It seems pretty clear, the SPX is at the top of it’s range in an extended rising wedge pattern. So will it break out (some may argue it has) …. will it test support and remain inside the ever narrowing range for a while longer…or will it break down below support. Rising wedges after a long uptrend are scary times and imho for suckers . When it breaks either band it is for traders. Place your bets.
