Alex was a wild man… I love it!
He should have reminded Piers about leaders that took away guns – Hitler, Pol Pot, Idi Amin… those devils in Rwanda. More people die from Vehicular homicide – perhaps we should take away all the cars too. Day following kristallnacht – Hitler banned Jews from owning guns, clubs and sharp knives. I guess Jews shooting Nazi’s was quite low after that. Gun control really works!!
Alex is right – you don’t own a gun for the right to shoot a deer – but to defend yourself if the government is taken over my tyrants. Funnily enough – a couple of days ago – NY Congressman Jose Serrano introduced HJ Res 15, which proposes an amendment to the Constitution to repeal term limits for the office of President of the United States.
Yeah, yeah, yeah – it won’t pass… when the economy is in total shambles in 4 years they will be too disorganized to have an election. You know the drill… all hail the Prez!

Danielle, looks like you are just another consumer/promoter of mass media low grade schlock. This is not responsible journalism it is controled, manipulated, dirt propaganda of the worsed kind. Guests are picked not for their ability to debate the host but because they are easy targets. The spectacle of the Piers Morgan Show is just another crude example of the manipulative effect of mass propaganda.
This is Gonzo Journalism gone rotten. Take it for what it is.

  3. sorry, no reasonable person can watch that clip and not be profoundly embarrassed by the both the speaker ranter and his message.

  4. John C says:

Those who listen to Alex Jones’s radio show know that he makes some very valid points (even though he often succumbs to hyperbole and even hysteria), and he can back up much of what he claims with solid documentation. In fact, he often exposes facts far ahead of the MSM.

However one does need to be careful and very discerning about how he spins things sometimes. As always, one should never blindly accept the word of anyone in the media, but one should try to get the facts for themselves. And Alex Jones in particular has built a business on “the government is out to get you” meme, so his message is inherently suspect. Unfortunately, some of it is true, as corroborated by more respectable people, such as Naomi Wolf, Catherine Austin Fitts, Paul Craig Roberts and others.

Unfortunately for those who see value in this message, whenever Jones goes on TV he turns into a raving maniac, whether intentionally or just because he can’t control his emotions. Thus, he discredits himself and his cause, while attracting doomers and crazies to his audience. If the powers that be wanted to destroy him, this is a good way to do it––give hime the rope to hang himself. Which is unfortunate because we do need popular voices of dissent that aim to ‘wake up’ the people.

  5. michael says:

I agree with you, but that is exactly why he was chosen for the show.
The bigger picture, however, is the growing frustration of the middle class with the Plutocracy of which this host is clearly supportive. This madness promises to get much worse.

  6. rolling stall says:

Next we will see the gold ranters, uh haters? They are everywhere, everywhere! Take away their gold, too? Fat chance.

  7. John C says:

Well, yeah, it was obviously a hit piece. Piers Morgan showed his hand: when he could not get a word in edgewise to discredit Alex Jones on gun control by setting up a straw man argument as a trap, he resorted to ambush journalism by suddenly shifting the debate to 911. This is a surefire way for someone in the MSM to discredit a researcher by painting him as a conspiracy nut. It’s the oldest trick in their book of dirty tricks. To his credit, Alex held his own without allowing Morgan to deal a coup de grace. IMO, anyone who believes the 911 fairytale as told by the MSM is the nutcase.

  8. Charles says:

What a pathetic excuse for a radio host, if ou ahve to make your point by shouting, it means you have no factual data to back up your addertions.
It is facts that are needed, not B.S. shouted as loud as you can to try to drown out anyone with an opposing fact or a reaonable comment. Unfortunately, the gun lobby is incapable of reading the 2nd amendment fully, they have no concept of what “a well regulated militia” means if the actual amendment is read! The objective of the 2nd amendment that was passed shortly after the Constitution was adopted is to make sure that the states would have weapons for their militias for defense against attack by enemies of the new republic.

FYI, this is the text of the second amendment to the US Constitution as ratified by the states: “A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”

  9. GRGY says:

Piers Morgan “interviewed” Larry Pratt recently. In this clip, Morgan comes off as the idiot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fHJcSsC0aY&feature=player_detailpage

I certainly understand why Alex Jones unloaded on Piers Morgan. He gave him some of his own medicine back. What few facts Morgan did present, he was wrong on. One would never want actual facts to interfere with the message, would one?

  10. GRGY says:

Yes, yes Alex Jones went off on Morgan. So what. Jones made many good points that cannot be disputed, unlike Morgan. http://www.economicpolicyjournal.com/2013/01/must-view-ben-swann-reality-check-on.html

Morgan has demonstrated clearly, that facts do not matter. It is all about ratings and keeping his job. That he has any viewers at all is surprising to me.

Watch how offensive Morgan was when interviewing Larry Pratt and you’ll know why Jones gave him “both barrels”.

Piers Morgan and guests- an example of the stupidity of the left wing media.

  12. John C says:

I’ve never actually watched Piers Morgan, but after seeing that clip I see that he’s nothing but a bully with a microphone. Maybe he should just go back to England and continue spying on people through their phones.

  13. John C says:

Joe Biden sends up a trial balloon by saying that President Bronco Bama will act on gun control and that he can use executive powers to by-pass congress. Looks like the executive wants to see just how far they can take their fascist rhetoric before law-abiding gun owners begin reminding them rather forcefully about their second amendment rights.

Anyone who takes the time to look would see that the US is increasingly becoming a fascist state. But when they start coming for your guns, watch out. Americans should keep in mind that the devil comes in disguise as your best friend and saviour, not as a mustasche-twirling anarchist.. This is why I said years ago to friends and family that Bronco Bama was far more dangerous to America than even Bush was.

  14. Gary Tooze says:

    Danielle,
You are lucky to have a following that is capable of independent thought – not simply following the media’s flavor of the month. If you Outlaw guns – only outlaws will have guns. If anyone really wants a gun – they can get a gun. Maybe we should ban knives too – I mean after OJ Simpson and all.
Other things the ‘government’ says is illegal? Prostitution – think ANYONE couldn’t get a hooker if they want? Marajuana? – same. Many decades ago the government thought it knew best and enacted Prohibition – because drinking alcohol was the devil’s work. Think anyone drank? LOL – What the gov did is create the biggest villian in US history. Al Capone paid off the ENTIRE Chicago Police department. Limiting people’s rights does not work – it makes them slaves.
I’m certain the Gold hoarders will, somehow, be blamed for the coming Depression… and Danielle will be right there agreeing with the mainstream. Sigh.

  15. michael says:

The point that is missed in all of this sillyness is why people like Alex Jones have a huge following. A cornered animal’s last line of defense when trapped is to fight to the death to regain it’s freedom. Alex Jones and his following is just that. They know their guns are their last line of defense and they will fight with whatever they have to protect it. Elite’s and their paid puppets like Piers Morgan will do what they can to control the masses. In the end they will not succeed. There is just too much seething anger growing daily in the belly of the masses.

  16. Bobbi says:

Hopefully, people are becoming more adept at doing just that.

  17. GRGY says:

Larry Pratt takes Piers Morgan to the cleaners in their second meeting. Morgan is the lowest of US Liberal media scum. Unfortunately, he has enough mindless followers to keep him on the air – for now.

  18. Roberta says:

No doubt, Bronco Bama is very dangerous; but he is not nearly as dangerous as a populace that would re-elect him after watching his 1+ Trillion dollar budget deficits year after year and knowing that he thinks those deficits are OK!

I agree with Alex Jones that we need our guns for protection from our tyrannical government. The boys that do most of the mass shootings are a serious problem and I do not understand why they do it; but I do not think it is because we have guns. There have always been lots of guns in the US; why are these mass killings happening now? Is there a general degradation of our society? Yes. Do children lack discipline at home and in schools? Yes. Are our movies/video games more violent than ever? Yes. Are psychiatriac problems treated with drugs more today than ever? Yes. Is our society more urbanized and liberal than ever before? Yes. Are our young people removed from things that are “down to earth” more than in the past? Yes. Is our society more crowded than ever before? Yes. Are Americans somewhat obsessed with grooming? Yes. Are random acts of violence more common than ever? Yes.

Studies of rats been done where the rats were given ample food and water in a cage of fixed size. They started out with ample space for each rat, but they bred like rats and the cage became very crowded. The rats started spending a lot of time grooming themselves. Random acts of violence became common. Does this sound somewhat like the USA? Yes.

Did the US Goobermint send thousand of assault rifles to Mexico (operation fast and furious) hoping that some of them would end up in heinous crimes and result in an outcry to ban assault weapons? Yes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ATF_gunwalking_scandal

Is it possible that the US Goobermint has orchestrated the recent mass shootings in an attempt to sway public opinion against firearms? Yes.

    Lots to ponder, eh?

  19. Roberta says:

20 years ago I took a 1-week vacation road trip to British Columbia and Alberta. I did not have a gun in Canada – I don’t think you were allowed to have them. Canada struck me as a clean nation, fairly safe, with good people. I thought this might be the way it was in the USA in the 50s before sex, drugs, and rock-and-roll.

Upon reentering the USA, I suddenly noticed a LOT of seedy convenience stores and bars selling cigarettes and booze, and lots of trash on the streets. There were lots of bikers and people who did not “look” like the good people I’d seen in Canada. I immediately felt unsafe and thought “Where’s my gun?” I do not feel safe here without one.

  20. John C says:

I agree with the right to bear arms. I agree that you cannot trust government––history makes this abundantly clear.

I also agree that access to firearms is NOT the root of the problem, but the government and the media are using it as an excuse to attempt to disarm the populace. You must ask, why that is? THe possible answers are not very comforting. These people, like Piers Organ, are very dangerous.

If one wants to begin to understand why people do some of the things we do, I suggest watching the movie Zeitgeist: Moving Forward. I’m not suggesting the answers to our problems are encapsulated in this film, but it does present some very interesting insights. The information can help people better defend themselves against government propaganda that is used to manipulate minds.

  21. GRGY says:

Ben Shapiro takes Piers Morgan to the wood shed.

“Ben Shapiro is one of the brightest lights among young conservatives, and the Harvard Law training showed up last night as he calmly dissected Piers Morgan into little quivering pieces.”

In the USA there are ~ 270,000,000 guns – the homicide rate is ~ 5.1 per 100,000.
    http://www.gunpolicy.org/firearms/region/united-states

In the USSR there are ~ 13,000,000 guns – the homicide rate is ~ 15.0 per 100,000.
    http://www.gunpolicy.org/firearms/region/russia

Why do you think that is the case?
So, WHERE is the freak show?
